PROMOTION OF THE PROJECTS AT THE 4th INTERNATIONAL STUDENT CONFERENCE "EDUCATION FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT"

4th International Student Conference entitled "EDUCATION FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT" was held at the College "Logos Centar" in Mostar on 01.06.2023. The organizers of the conference were the University College "CEPS-Center for Business Studies" Kiseljak, the Bjelovar University of Applied Sciences (Croatia) and the College "Logos centar" in Mostar. The partner of this conference was the Zagreb School of Business (Croatia).
During the conference, 32 student papers by 60 authors/co-authors, from five higher education institutions from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, Slovakia and North Macedonia, were presented. Students presented their research in the field of sustainable development, and actively participated in the exchange of opinions, acquiring new knowledge and competences. This was an ideal opportunity for the popularization of science, the personal and collective affirmation of students, and the promotion of the idea of sustainable development.
Ph.D. Nermin Palić, head of the Traffic and Transport Engineering study program, used this opportunity to present the projects of the CEPS Kiseljak College in which this institution is a partner in two consortia. These are capacity building projects within the ERASMUS+ program called Greening Relevance in Operations in Western - Balkans Tertiary - Education Habitats (GROWTH) - ERASMUS-EDU-2022-CBHE-STRAND-1 and jOiNEd For sUsTainability - building climate REsilient communities in WB and EU (1FUTURE) - ERASMUS-EDU-2022-CBHE-STRAND-2. Both of these projects aim to encourage sustainable development, green universities and the efforts against climate change.
Student conferences organized by the University College CEPS Kiseljak have been held regularly since 2019.
After the presented papers, discussion and conclusions, certificates were issued to all participants of the student conference. All presented papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings.
