Within the Erasmus+ project SKILL2SUSTAIN, a training for teaching staff from the Western Balkans was successfully completed at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, Faculty of Civil Engineering, held from 23 to 27 February 2026. Representatives of University College “CEPS – Center for Business Studies”, Kiseljak, Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mirzo Selimić and Head of the Transport Engineering Study Program Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nermin Palić, actively participated in all aspects of the training.
The training focused on the transfer of knowledge, experience, and skills in the field of digital and green education. Participants worked on topics related to circular economy in construction, the application of appropriate software solutions, and the use of One Click LCA, a leading AI-supported cloud platform for calculating, analyzing, and reducing environmental impacts (particularly embodied carbon) in construction projects.
The final outcome of the training will be the development of at least two collaborative research papers, which will be presented at a conference organized within the project in September 2026, further strengthening the research and digital competencies of teaching staff in the region.
