Within the Erasmus+ CBHE project RES-UNI, in which University College “CEPS – Center for Business Studies” Kiseljak is a partner, the Big Data course for CEPS students is starting. The course is organized by the partner institution from Poland, WSGE University of Applied Sciences in Józefów.
The course continues activities aimed at strengthening digital and research competencies and enhancing students’ knowledge in the field of big data analysis and processing. The programme will be delivered through theoretical and practical lectures, followed by a final exam.
The course schedule includes the following modules:
- Big Data and Cloud Computing (theory and practice) – 12th and 13th March at 16:00

- Data Acquisition and Processing (theory and practice) – 16th March at 16:00 and 17th March at 16:30
Lecturer: Dr Toktam Ghafarian
- Big Data in Social Networks (theory and practice) – 18th and 19th March at 16:00
Lecturer: Dr Maksymilian Bujok
- Machine Learning in Big Data (theory and practice) – 23rd and 25th March at 16:00
Lecturer: M.A. Wojciech Sitek
- GenAI in Big Data (theory) – 27th March at 16:00
Lecturer: M.A. Wojciech Sitek
The final exam is scheduled for 30th March at 16:00.
The course will enable students to gain practical knowledge in cloud computing, machine learning, social network data analysis, and the application of generative artificial intelligence in a Big Data environment, further strengthening CEPS’s capacities in digital transformation and modern higher education.
