University College „CEPS – Center for Business Studies“ from Kiseljak is a partner in the international ERASMUS+ project 1FUTURE, which has entered its second year of implementation. As part of the project, the planned mobility training sessions, lasting between 7 and 14 days depending on the partner's field of expertise, have begun.
The Director of CEPS, Doc. Dr. Mirzo Selimić, visited the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje from September 16 to 20, 2024. This is the largest university in Rep. North Macedonia. The visit was part of the staff training mobility within the 1FUTURE project, during which he attended lectures on topics such as Circular Economy in the Built Environment, and Energy Efficiency Renovation for Resiliant Structures. This marks the second such mobility. Workshops were held in Skopje and Dojran.
The goal of these training sessions is to enhance the capacities of higher education staff in the Western Balkans by introducing innovative elements into existing curricula, with a particular focus on raising awareness and education about sustainability and climate change. It is expected that 42 staff members from the region will improve their teaching skills, instructional methodologies, and the use of digital tools in education, leading to the revision of curricula in line with best practices from the EU.
